Historically, their dedicated H&S team had to manually manage incidents, reporting, certifications, and assets through a combination of software, spreadsheets, and pen-and-paper solutions. The result was a piecemeal H&S system which left too much responsibility on the shoulders of too few, and too many opportunities for critical information to fall through the cracks.
By working with Assura to configure a workflow and H&S solution, Waimakariri District Council has reduced its administrative burden, increased reporting capability, and created clear lines of communication between staff working across multiple departments and locations.
